Great post. I agree that music ain’t what it used to be, and that it’s a lot more image based and less quality based… but that’s just my opinion.
I’d like to comment on your post title. It’s the perfect example of a “never get found on the search engine” but “will get clicked on if on your blog home page” kind of title. I doubt anyone will ever search for a “narcissistic rockstar gas station owner”, so I doubt your post will ever show up on a google search, but when I came to your blog there was no way after I saw it that I could resist clicking on it.
I like your gas station owner analogy. There are many of us out there…

I too remember an era when giving up your real identity on the internet was the equivalent of being “outed” or opening the floodgates to identity theft…

I think it’s great to be in the gas station business. People desperately need information (transportation) and if you’ve got the juice… the cash register looks good for the long run! I wish I had a lot more gas stations myself!
