All posters and forum members should read this before contributing to the forum.
Failure to abide by the rules may result in warnings, suspensions, bannings, or even black-listing depending on how I feel that day and how egregious the activity is. Here are the basics:
General Conduct:
Simple stuff here: No personal attacks, nothing biased and hateful against another based on race, religion, gender, orientation, philosophical disagreements, or anything that has to do with the person & stereotypes versus the actual issues of discussion.
Trade:
Good faith offers only! If there are constant problems and you cannot provide what you have promised, you may be suspended or banned from the Trade forum. Any blatant attempts to scam forum members will be met with a site-wide ban, and the administration of WebsiteBuildingBiz will not hesitate to share relevant information with the appropriate law enforcement offices when asked.
If it is illegal offline in the USA, it is illegal here too - and we don't want anything to do with it so as to protect the website and to protect the forum's members.
Signatures:
Members may utilize active, "dofollow" backlinks in signature lines. Each signature can contain as many as four links. Link only to websites you own or are interested in - direct affiliate links are not acceptable.
The forum administration reserves the right to remove signatures for any reason, including but not limited to domains and pages that appear to have been penalized by major search engines such as Google.
ABSOLUTELY NO LINKS TO WAREZ, PORN, PHARMACY, or GAMBLING
You will be banned.
Other Links:
Try to keep links 1) in the signature 2) in the self-promotion forum or 3) at the very least, on topic with the thread it is posted in. Its really great to hear that you've started a new blog, but don't put it in another member's thread unless you're pointing to an article or tool that helps answer their specific issues.
Complaining:
Generally, its just not a good idea. You won't make many friends by complaining all of the time, and at some point its just going to annoy the other members and the administrators.
Politics & Economics:
Every forum needs a place for people to vent on social issues. Now, the internet is global so don't get upset if people want to talk about issues other than the United States of America. Please abide by the standards of rational and polite discussion - any racism, bigotry, or stereotypical bias is not welcome and may result in full or partial loss of access to the forums.
